94 million liters of wine. Vegetative cycle of 205 days. Significant spring frosts in March and April that affected some areas intensely. A very dry year for the vineyard, as the rain came after the harvest. Hot summer.
Appearance: Clean, bright, medium-low deep, brick red turning into orange glints.
Nose: Ripe and complex, notes of wood due a long aging in barrels with remarcable spices hints.
Tasting: Silky and balanced.
Aftertaste: Nice spicy and cedar hint.
Finish: Long and elegant, notes of dry fruits.
It matches with any kind of meat and mushrooms rice. Some tasty or oily fish such as tuna or cod. Medium-aged cheese such as emmental or gruyere.
