The previous winter was extremely cold and dry. The vegetative cycle was 210 days. June was very rainy.

Appearance: Clean, bright, medium-low deep, brick red turning into orange glints.

Nose: Deep, elegant cedar hints due to the bottle ageing. Complex and mature. Notes of long aging dominating the spices.

Tasting: Mature, fine and silky.

Aftertaste: Remarkable spicy hints.

Finish: Long and elegant, notes of dry fruits.

It matches with any kind of meat and mushrooms rice. Some tasty or oily fish such as tuna or cod. Medium-aged cheese such as emmental or gruyere.
